About Us
The Old Rectory, the sister home to Galltfaenan Hall, provides high quality, long term and respite care for adults with learning disabilities.
Set in its own lovely garden with well-tended lawns, the property stands in a convenient location on the outskirts of Trefnant village, in the scenic Denbighshire countryside of North Wales. We are within easy reach of local shops and amenities, like the local bowling green and village pub.
Offering nine spacious, bright and well-appointed single rooms over two floors, we have a great mix of male and female residents, aged 18 and upwards.
Some are from close by, whilst others have origins elsewhere in Wales and the wider UK.
Opened in 1989 as a dedicated residential care service facility, The Old Rectory is a wonderful place to live, offering a family-friendly residence, where everyone is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We seek to empower all the individuals in our care, striving to fulfil their emotional, psychological and spiritual needs, so that they can make their own decisions, within an environment that is both caring and supportive.
