Our Care
For over 40 years, Galltfaenan Hall has helped adults affected by learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses live happy, fulfilling lives, in a setting built on stability and genuine independence.
What care do we offer?
Galltfaenan Hall provides residential and respite care for adults aged 18 and over. We support people affected by learning disabilities and mental health needs, with care built around the person rather than a fixed programme.
Who is it for?
Our residents are aged from 18 to well beyond retirement age, and come to us from Denbighshire, across Wales, and further afield in the UK. Some have lived here for a short time. Others have called Galltfaenan Hall home for many years.
We advocate person-centred planning, tailoring individual care plans to the needs of each adult. People here set their own goals, and decide the pace at which they want to achieve them.

Everything we do is geared towards delivering practical, effective, individually tailored care plans. Independence is promoted within a warm, inclusive, family atmosphere, and daily routines are treated as important but never rigid, so that every day can be different, relaxed and productive.
Safeguarding the people in our care, around the clock, 365 days a year, is our overriding priority. Everyone at Galltfaenan Hall is shown absolute respect, free from any verbal or physical abuse, underpinned by a comprehensive set of policies, quality assurance, external auditing and regulatory inspection.

Galltfaenan Hall provides residential and respite care for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, aged 18 and over. We do not provide dementia care.
Who is Galltfaenan Hall for?
Our residents range from young adults to those well beyond retirement age. Many have complex histories, and our setting and pace of life are part of how we support people to settle and thrive.
How is care planned?
Every resident has an individually tailored care plan and a specifically assigned key worker, reviewed and adjusted as their needs and goals change.
